Yay!!! Finally here to review the Target Beauty Box!!!

Only a few select actually knew that Target was having a beauty box on sale for $5!! At least that I knew of. I was fortunate to have gotten mine early before they sold out because they had one last year I missed out on. Now, I can't say that this will be a recurring thing with them, but don't quote me on that. As of now, it's not but I hope that they make it a monthly thing so all of you who missed out can actually get it.

 I received the following:
  • Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream - 2oz
  •  Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo - 1.7oz
  • Toni&Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray - 2.5oz
  • Covergirl Smoochies Sizzle Gloss - 13ml
  • L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara - Full size
Can I just start with this... FOR FIVE DOLLARS THIS IS A STEAL!!:)
I was pretty impressed when I opened this up and saw all these products. I know a few people weren't happy, but I honestly am pretty thrilled with this overall. So, let's break it down piece by piece to tell you why I loved it!:) Enjoy<3
I want to start with the product I was most intrigued by; Jergens BB Body Cream. I have seen countless commercials, YouTube videos, read blogs and articles all on this one product about how amazing it was.. So, yeah. I was happy to get this. I have a lot of redness on my hands and splotches of discoloration due to an terrible oil burn a couple of years ago so I applied this to my hands. I can't say it worked 100%, but it sure did cover up all redness and the splotches about 85%. My opinion? That's pretty good, definitely worth purchasing over. Unfortunately, I have semi sensitive skin and applying this kind of irritated me:( I was so sad to have this happen because I truly enjoyed this product:( Not sure what it was that bothers me, but I'll have to look into it and hope I can find a way around this. If you feel like giving this one a try you can find them on Targets website, here:)
The full size of this retails for $11.99

I know I've mentioned before that I like to wash my hair every other two days, but sometimes every other three. I also mentioned that my hair gets oily pretty quickly and using this helped significantly! I've had other dry shampoos that I just didn't enjoy at all, yet this one just worked wonders for me. It really helped to make my hair feel soft and less shiny, as well as making it look like I had a little more volume. This product deserves two thumbs up! Do you guys have any other suggestions of other dry shampoos I could try? Comment below and let me know. You can find this product by clicking here.  The full size retails for $4.99.

Anyone else loving Sea Salt texturising spray this season?? I've been hooked on Healthy Sexy Hair Soy renewal spray, but I have been wanting a sea salt spray for summer. I've used this for the past few days now and I'm totally loving the way this leaves my hair! It really helps to keep my hair in place with a slight hold. I've been wearing my hair straight down or with slight wave and spraying this in keeps those annoying little hairs down! Haha.. anyone else have this problem? This is definitely a light weight product with noticeable hold. Definitely worth the $4.99 for 2.5 oz.

You can check this out at Target!

Honestly, you all know I can't stand glitter in my gloss!!! I just hate the texture! The only grainy feeling I want on my lips is from a lip scrub and this is soooo grainy!>:(
Not cool.. haha. To be honest though, as much as I don't like gloss I would have loved this if it weren't for the glitter. The smell is kind of fruity, (which I love) and the gloss itself felt really smooth and hydrating.. I wish soo much that this didn't have glitter!:( Do any of you like glitter in your gloss? Oh well.. they can't all be a winner, I guess. If you like this though, the shade I received is in Date Night.   Though, it says it's only found in store, I found it online on Amazon for $4.99.

Last product in my box was this mascara from L'Oreal. I've been of fan of theirs for some time now so I was grateful to get this. I'm a very picky person when it comes to mascara just because I've been so disappointed in so many before. Maybe I just have weird lashes or something, but my lashes clump so easily!:( Luckily, this mascara was a win with me! This went on so evenly and seemed to have put product on every individual lash itself! I'm in love with it! So going to re purchase this! It was long lasting, starting from morning all the way through late and night. The brush for this mascara is genius with its slimming to larger applicator. It cups the lashes in such a perfect match without much work from me to wiggle its way into an even application. DEFINITELY recommend this to you!<3 Get it here!!
This retails for $7.99.

Thus, adding up to a total of $35.00!!!! I'll say it again; what a steal!:)
If I hear more about Target coming out with another box, I'll be sure to post a link on my Facebook page! So don't forget to go "like" it and always stay updated with my latest blogs and giveaway!!! I try to keep up with the latest boxes and whatnot, so make sure to always stay tuned:)

Yesterday was awesome, I received both my Limited Edition BIRCHBOX and my Target Box.. but we'll save Target for tomorrow:) I wanted to play around with the goodies in this box a little before I reviewed them.
"Let’s face it: Spending hours at the drugstore, navigating aisles of beauty products underneath florescent lighting, is about as much fun as a root canal. Well we’ve done the digging for you and pulled together this collection of the absolute best and newest affordable beauty finds around. From a high-shine hair oil to a shimmery cream shadow, these picks are routine game-changers—try them on for size, and see what all the fuss is about. A $55 value!" (found on their website)

This is what I received in my box, seven items all adding up to a worth of $55!
For $18 I think the box is a great steal!
  • Biore'- Set of 4 single use packs of "Self Heating One Minute Mask"
  • John Freida- Frizz Ease, Nourishing Oil Elixir with Argan Oil
  • Nivea- Lip Care Balm in the shade "Sheer Pink"
  • Rimmel- Stay Glossy 3D, gloss in the shade "Popcorn For 2"
  • Covergirl- Bombshell Volume Masacara in "Very Black"
  • Salley Hansen- Nail Polish in, "Kook a Mango"
  • Covergirl- Bombshell Eyeshadow in, "Ice Queen"
Again, this limited edition BIRCHBOX retails for $18, not bad if you enjoy what you see. You can get it here!

Let's start with the first thing I saw; Boire' Heating Mask:)

I was actually pretty intrigued when I saw this. It's not that I'm not a "mask person", but I just never seem to pick them up. I know they're good for you, but my face is okay for the most part. The only problem I have, aside from the occasional break-out, is pores-_- They've taken over my face...
So, you can imagine how happy I was to see something that is supposed to reduce the amount of them.
This product is a heating mask with natural charcoal; it's said to open pores and draw out any dirt and oil.

When they say "heating mask", they meant it. Haha. You're supposed to activate it by splashing your face with water, before applying, thus activating the heat. So, as you can see in my picture, I splashed my face and applied my mask with both my index finger and middle. I started to massage this all over my face and boy, was this sure warm. I felt like someone covered my face with a steam towel. (which is actually a cheaper way to open pores and draw out impurities) I massaged my face for one minute as instructed and rinsed off. I'm not sure if any of you have used the Clean&Clear morning wash, but it has the same cooling effect once washed off. It felt like my face was covered in peppermint. Haha, but I loved the feeling and my face looked slightly brighter. As for my pores, it's definitely going to take more than just a one time use, but I'm LOVING this product. This might actually be something I repurchase in the future!:)

Next thing I reached for was this bottle from John Freida. It is a "Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir" also containing Argan oil. As any hair oil, this product is supposed to hydrate and add shine to hair.

The consistency is quite light and there's a slight fragrance.

My only issue with this? I already have oily hair:(
I wash my hair every other two days and by the second day I feel like I've been working under cars..Haha.. but seriously.. I don't think I'll be using it.. Maybe I'll give it away with my first giveaway? Would any of you like that?
I only pumped it once to show you what it looks like.. Let me know:) As for the product, I'm sure it would be great.

I came across this Salley Hansen nail polish. My first thought, this color doesn't look good on my skin tone. I'm not that into bright coral/mango on my nails, but I had to try it out for you guys:) This is two coats and it dried pleasantly quick. Though, I liked the texture of this and its fast drying formula; the color just doesn't suit me. I'm more of a black nail polish girl myself;)
This shade itself is called, "Kook a Mango"

Unfortunately, another miss for me. I'm not saying it's the product because it's me. I HATE gloss. I don't like the texture and I hate that my hair constantly gets stuck in it.. :/ Anyone else feel the same?
This is actually though, a nice sheer pink with a little too much glitter if you ask me. Above, is a photo of me wearing it and it kind of comes off a little metallic almost. Do you think so? Anyway, the gloss was light feeling and didn't need a ton to apply equally. Oh well:)

Another lip product, but this is more of a balm. This is the shade, "Sheer Pink" and when applied there's a faint color; as it states.
I always tend to smell things first, haha. Anyone else do this too?! Anyway, this actually smells like sunblock... what a turnoff:(
I liked the color and the texture, but I don't want something smelling like that on my lips. I would have shown a picture of the payoff, but it wouldn't show on camera. Maybe some of you would like it, who knows. For now, this little guy will just be set aside..

Mascara!!!!:) I love it.. It's okay to be addicted to mascara right? Hah. Cause I am. Moving on, I was happy to pull this out next. I'm a COVERGIRL fan, always have been and probably always will be. I can say I don't think I've EVER bought a double ended mascara. Probably cause I see a use for those. I already have naturally long lashes and I wear glasses, so extending them more would cause them to hit my lens.

The brush on side one (right side) is a much fatter brush covered in small bristles. I love this side! Side one is meant to volumize the lashes, which in fact it did. It extended my lashes enough to make them seem naturally longer and the mascara seemed to have applied evenly through the lashes too. Always a plus!:)
When I got to using side two, meant to intensify and darken the lashes for a seal coat, but all it seemed to do was clump them together:( Maybe I applied it too soon after side one? I haven't given up on this yet!

Last, is another sample from COVERGIRL:) This is a creamy eyeshadow base or, if you're a person who doesn't do eyes; a simple dab of this across your lids will leave a pretty shine!:) On the right is what it looks like without blended and on the left is blended. It's a very sheen frost white with shimmer. Do I like this? I sure do. Though, I probably won't use this as a base, I'd use it as a brow bone highlight. The texture of this is super smooth and quite easily blended. Definitely a product you can build.

This concludes my blog for today<3

Toady I finally received my first BIRCHBOX!!:)
I was quite ecstatic to get this baby open and see what goodies lay ahead for me.
I won't be comparing this to any other subscription just because I feel like they're each different for a reason:) I've read so many bad reviews on this box and I pleasantly have to disagree.

"The season is changing, and we've got an extra hour of glorious daylight (woo hoo!) and an hour less of shut-eye (blergh) on our hands. Whether you’re a glass half-empty or half-full kind of gal, what better time to focus on maximizing your daily routine? This month we're talking about smart DIYs, clever beauty shortcuts, and even ways to improve your Birchbox experience. (Hint: It involves getting products for free!) We’ll show you how to get more out of everything, from helping your products last longer to time-saving hair tricks. Prepare yourself—it's going to be a great spring!"

 I received the following;
  •  Agave Oil Treatment- 0.1 oz
  •  Gilchrist & Soames Body Lotion- 1.5oz
  •  The Balm's "How Bout' Them Apples" sample in "Pie"
  •  Sugargoop Sunscreen Serum- 10ml.
  • Mighty Leaf Tea- 3 pouches

Here's an overview of my box! I'm loving it! Let's go into our normal breakdown:)

First thing I pulled out was this lotion from Gilchrist & Soames. My first thought, "I'm sure this is the lotion you get at a hotel." After applying this, the lotion did seem a little watery for me. I have really dry hands and elbows most of the time, so this was a bit of a let down. I'll still give it a few more tries though. The full size of this product retails for $16. Though I won't be purchasing this in the near future, I'll enjoy what I have because the scent is actually a nice earthy fragrance.

I saw this little bottle peeking out from behind the lotion and was instantly drawn to it. Sugargoop is a new product to me. Never heard of it and never tried it, but isn't this why we pay for these subscriptions?:) I easily get sun burnt, so I enjoy any sunscreen. This guy has an SPF of 30, (which is awesome) and works as a makeup primer as well. Two in one?! Yes please! This is an anti - aging product that protects our skin from UV exposure and dehydration. I'll have to try this out more when Summer actually arrives.. haha Full size is $42!

Ahh.. a familiar brand. Agave has been a personal favorite of mine for some time. I'll accept a product of theirs anytime:) So, this oil treatment is said to restore unmanageable and frizzy hair. Which unfortunately, I have:(

"Other natural botanicals like coconut, vanilla, sunflower, and safflower are blended with madagascar baobab seed oil to nourish and transform hair’s outer layer."

2oz is $24 and you can get it here.

Why is it that The Balm's packaging is always so awesome and on point!?!

I've mentioned before I'm a sucker for cute packaging and this is definitely one of my favorites ever!

I'm such a fan of this brand and surprisingly don't own this palette. This here, is a blush/lip cream palette with six different shades and this retails for $32 on their site.

The shade I received is, "Pie." The texture of this is sooo creamy! It melted right into my skin, but I love it. The color is a pretty peachy/coral shade and you best believe I will use this up! I might be a blush addict.. haha, but this is sooo worth purchasing.. You, my friend, are going on my wishlist!

Next, I received an assortment of three different pouches of tea from Mighty Leaf.
I'm more of an iced-tea person, but I'll give these a try.

Green Tea Tropical; "Smooth green tea leaves harmoniously blend with sweet tropical fruits of pineapple and guava. Fragrant and uplifting, this bouquet will transport you to tropical bliss."

Organic Earl Grey; "Perfection of a classic. Gold tips of rich black tea leaves blended with a twist of deep, first-press bergamot oil."

Chamomile Citrus; "A tea to curl up with and savor by the sip. Soothing Egyptian chamomile flowers with subtle slices of citrus fruit."

These come in three 15 pouch boxes for $26.99. I am wrapping up this blog with one now!:) Get them here!

Last,  but not least they out complimentary chocolate from Ghiradelli.
I LOVE chocolate! Especially chocolate with almonds.. yum!!!! I opened this box right after dinner, so be assured that my boyfriend and I split this one in half. Haha:) It was scrumptious!!! It melted into my mouth.. I think I went to Heaven and back during the minute it took to enjoy this.. hahah:) This chocolate is at a low cost of $4.25! You should try it! You know you want to!

That's it guys!!! Thank you, BIRCHBOX for an amazing first month!!!!

For $10 a month, you and I will become best of friends.. hah<3

Today I come to you with a BH Cosmetics Review!!!!:)

I have been a long time lover of bh cosmetic products and I probably have had no complaints about them. The quality of their makeup is good and pigmentation always pays off. I recently picked up two of their new palettes!

Here, I have both Forever Glam which retails for $9.95 and Forever Nude which retails for $11.95. Let's get into my breakdown!!

Let me start with a classic nude/neutral palette. I can't be the only person who is addicted to neutrals. Who isn't? And just look at this cute chic' packaging!  As I've said before, I've been a long time fan and their products and they haven't always been colorful like this. So to see this makes me happy! I'm a sucker for cute packaging:)

"Feminine, Elegant and On The Go! The Forever Nude combo palette has soft and neutral shades for eyes, lips and cheeks."

Here is what the inside looks like. It's a pretty decent size, about a little bit bigger than the size of your hand. It also has a large mirror that I personally love to see in any palette. You get two blush colors, two lips colors, a highlight and six eye shadows.

Let's start with the blush... look at those colors! I'm in love!! I'm not into bright blushes, I'm pale so anything too bright makes me look like a clown, haha. These are perfect for me. On the left you get an almost rose gold tone with a finishing sheen. This is perfect for upcoming Spring; well, Spring for all of you who have it! I'm still swamped with snow:( And on the right you get a soft pink, also with a sheen finish. Both are pretty pigmented and not much fallout.  The texture is soft and easily blended. If they were sold separately, I'd have to buy a backup!

I've mentioned before I'm not a huge lip gloss fan, so getting lipstick is always a win. On the left is a soft peach/nude color with a matte finish and on the right you have a natural pink. Both are a hit with me. The product goes on smooth and is long lasting!

Check out the highlight! It was hard to get a decent swatch of this because it's almost translucent, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I've come across plenty of highlights I thought were too overbearing, so this nice sheen finish is simply on point.
Digging into the eye shadows; there are six in total, two matte and four shimmer.
Have I mentioned how awesome this is for $12!!

 From left to right;
This is a super light lilac with shimmer; applying this I had a little bit a fall out. Nothing major. Next, a dark rose gold shimmer. I found this to be a great all over lid color. Following is this fun matte pink. I'm not too big on pink lids, but I actually like this one. I put this on the outer and inner corners. Next, a beautiful champagne highlight. I use this for the brow bone. This pretty bronze comes next. Bronze shades have been a growing favorite for many. This is has small amounts of fallout as well. Last, what I call a dark purple/black. This totally vamps up any look when applied in the crease.

Thus concluding the Forever Nude palette! I give this a 10/10! LOVE IT! Want it? Get it here.

Let's dive into Forever Glam!! Are you a glamorous gal always prowling the night life? I believe this palette is just for you! Or maybe you're just looking for something outside your comfort zone.

Whatever your reason may be, Forever Glam is sure to up your game!

"Fabulous, Sexy and On The Go!
The forever glam combo palette has an alluring and glamorous shades for eyes, lips and cheeks"

LOOK AT THIS PALETTE! LOOK AT THOSE COLORS! Can this be any more vibrant!?! Simply gorgeous! The colors really stand out and the quality and texture are stunning!

I think this is where I come to my first dislike with Bh:(  I absolutely do not like glitter in my blush! I don't mind a fine sheen, but NO GLITTER and the blush on the right side is packed with small flecks of glitter:( It's a total bummer considering I'm a fan of this peach shade too! I guess they can't all be a hit.. right? On the right we have a really bright, hot pink blush. Again, not a fan. I mentioned earlier that I'm light skinned and putting this color on me looks ridiculous. I also found this one to be slightly chalky. The blush in this palette were a total miss for me:(

On a better note, I adore these colors!!! These colors are out of this world pigmented! WOW! On the left we have a bright strawberry-like color. I honestly can't get over how bright this is! Is Summer here yet? On the right we have a beautiful hot pink. With one swipe you'll get the perfect pink lip you've been looking for:)

The highlight in this palette is a lot more pigmented so it calls for a lighter hand. Still gorgeous though.

As the last palette this has six eye shadows.

None which are matte.

As usual starting from left to right;
Starting with this peachy/gold shimmer, I have to say is my favorite of the six. I used this as an all over lid color and a highlight. Next, this blushing light pink is perfect for a single lid color. This really brought out the color of my eyes. This bronze is similar to the last palette, but nonetheless, still gorgeous. Next, is this silver/charcoal color. I LOVE this!! I can't get enough of this color!!!! Second to last is the gorgeous shimmery navy. Navy has always been a personal favorite. I took this color right into the crease for a more dramatic night time look. To finish off this palette is this really bright purple. When my normal cat-eye look get tiresome I throw a color like this on the bottom lash line for a splash of color!!:)

Well, that's it guys!!! I hope you enjoyed getting to know these two as much as I have.
Thinking about purchasing this baby? Get it here!
